Transforming society through social research
TONIC provide meaningful insights from evaluation, needs assessments and public consultation that help public bodies deliver better outcomes
Public Consultation
We are independent experts in public consultation with over 2.5 million responses for government and local authorities.
Evaluation
We give commissioners the evidence they need, backed by academic rigour, to improve service design, drive up outcomes or change the provision.
Needs Assessment
Get a deeper understanding of what your service users, residents, employees or a specific group need or want.
Research that drives change
We are a social research consultancy with 15 years of experience leading central and local government research. We have conducted over 200 public consultations, evaluations and needs assessments, and analysed 2.5 million responses, ensuring that public bodies have the deep insights they need to improve services.
Much of our work focuses on criminal justice, public health and social care, improving practice and giving a powerful voice to service users in shaping future service design. Our research, analysis, insights and reporting provide a strong evidence base for the decisions that impact many of the most vulnerable groups in society.
